On Thursday, Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS) reported upbeat earnings for its fourth quarter.
The bank posted fourth-quarter adjusted EPS of $2.22, up from $0.85 a year ago and beating the consensus of $1.70. Net earnings more than doubled from $1.52 billion to $3.7 billion.
The U.S. bank reported fourth-quarter revenue of $16.22 billion, up 26% year over year, beating the consensus of $15.03 billion.
