Axalta Coating Sys (NYSE:AXTA) reported quarterly earnings of $0.64 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $0.62 by 3.9 percent. This is a 4.92 percent increase over earnings of $0.61 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $1.305 billion which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $1.325 billion by 1.47 percent. This is a 3.40 percent decrease over sales of $1.351 billion the same period last year.
