3M (NYSE:MMM) reported quarterly earnings of $2.19 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $2.07 by 5.64 percent. This is a 10.61 percent increase over earnings of $1.98 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $6.300 billion which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $6.255 billion by 0.72 percent. This is a 3.82 percent increase over sales of $6.068 billion the same period last year.
