Textron (NYSE:TXT) reported quarterly earnings of $1.55 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $1.45 by 6.68 percent. This is a 10.71 percent increase over earnings of $1.40 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $3.602 billion which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $3.702 billion by 2.70 percent. This is a 5.11 percent increase over sales of $3.427 billion the same period last year.
