Applied Industrial (NYSE:AIT) reported quarterly earnings of $2.63 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $2.51 by 4.86 percent. This is a 11.44 percent increase over earnings of $2.36 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $1.200 billion which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $1.188 billion by 0.99 percent. This is a 9.15 percent increase over sales of $1.099 billion the same period last year.
