Globalstar, Inc. (NASDAQ: GSAT), a next-generation telecommunications infrastructure and technology provider today announced the addition of eight new six-meter C-3 tracking antennas being installed at its ground stations across Brazil.
For more than two decades, Globalstar has provided mobile satellite services across Brazil via ground stations located in Manaus, Petrolina, and Presidente Prudente. Each of these Globalstar-owned ground stations are being expanded to include two additional C-3 tracking antennas.
In addition to the above three locations, Globalstar leverages a fourth ground station location with Ascenty Data Centers e Telecomunicações S.A. and has contracted to install two more 6-meter tracking antennas at Ascenty's existing teleport in Sao Paulo.
