Block (NYSE:XYZ) reported quarterly earnings of $0.54 per share which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $0.67 by 19.04 percent. This is a 38.64 percent decrease over earnings of $0.88 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $6.114 billion which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $6.312 billion by 3.14 percent. This is a 2.31 percent increase over sales of $5.976 billion the same period last year.
